From humble beginnings in the Hawkes Bay
It's been 32 years of delivering the best health care and advice to our communities around New Zealand since 1989 when The Doctors was founded in Napier by Simon Bednarek, Tony Edwards and John Reekie.
The very first medical centre started on the site at 30 Munroe St and since then has had several renovations. The Doctors became a franchise and opened practices in Hastings, Palmerston North and nationwide. Green Cross Health became a shareholder in 2014.
The Doctors (Napier) Ltd now has four medical centres under it’s umbrella: The Doctors Napier, The Doctors Greenmeadows, EIT Health Centre and The Doctors Ahuriri (formally Dr Marjorie Craig’s Practice).
Over the years we've grown and changed a lot and proud to still be giving the best health care and advice in our local New Zealand communities.
