Newsletter
A new newsletter is now out and has been e-mailed to patients on our database who have not asked for 'no contact'. This is also available as a hard copy to read in the waiting area.
The Doctors App
Please note that any urgent prescriptions need to be requested through the prescription e-mail prescriptions@rich.thedoctors.co.nz with a high priority and urgent on the subject line. The phone line remains open for now but will close in the next few weeks. An SMS will be sent out with a closure date.
The prescription pre-pay service through the App has proven to be successful so we have implemented the same system with GP appointments. We are hoping that this will reduce any delays to you caused by queuing at reception to pay after your consult. You can also book yourself in using the app but please make sure that you are in the correct waiting room. Please note that this is only for GP appointments. For our patients on Automatic Payments and Southern Cross customers, the makers of the App, Centrik, are working on how to make the system accessible for you. In the meantime Southern Cross customers are able to pre pay and then claim back themselves. We appreciate your patience while this is being brainstormed.
Urgent appointments
We are unable to offer urgent appointments through the App. If you require an urgent appointments please call 035442255. We will get the Triage nurse to return your call so you can be assessed prior to booking.
