The Doctors have three Walk-In Care medical centres in the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui area for accidents, injuries or suddenly feeling unwell. The hours and locations for these Walk-In Services are here below. Through COVID-19 we are temproarily closing a little earlier than usual:
What is Walk-In Care?
Walk-In Care services are for enrolled or casual patients who experience sudden illness, accidents or injuries that do not appear to be life threatening but can’t wait until the next day. You don't need an appointment to be seen here - we welcome unscheduled, walk-in visitors. There may be a short wait time depending on the number of people visiting at the same time. More seriously ill patients receive priority treatment.
In the case of an emergency, always call 111.
All these practices offer standard GP medical services for booked appointments within standard opening hours. Please click the links above and check their practice web pages for normal open hours, how to enrol and how to book an appointment. For your regular, continuing healthcare please book an appointment with your usual GP.
You can also enrol at these acute walk in care centres as your main general practice care provider, just the same as other medical centres. Then you will benefit from all the great aspects about becoming an enrolled patient.
