Phone Consults

We are here to help all our patients. We're doing the best we can for you, our staff and other patients.

We are introducing a telephone strategy to reduce the risk of an infected person visiting our practice and ensure we can continue meeting demand for other patients who need care.

From now on, you may receive a phone call from a doctor or nurse in our clinical team regarding your health issue, to see if you can have a consultation over the phone or if you need to be seen.

Rest assured, face-to-face consults will still be scheduled if they are required.

In the next day or two, all patients with booked appointments scheduled within the next 2 weeks will be contacted and phone assessed by their medical centre.

Our practices are in the process of enabling video consultations and will advise you when this service is available. ACC and the Ministry of Social Development have also expanded the range of services (such as renewing certificates) that can be completed via telehealth during the COVID-19 response.

If you are asked to be phone triaged or assessed, please ensure you are contactable on the number you have given us, at your allocated appointment time.
